we have too many soft "offensive" dmen.. ehrhoff, sekera, leo and grags.. you can't run a defensive system with that on your back end.. you need to sub two or at least one of them out for a hard hitting defensive dman.. |

I wouldn't put Hoff in the 'soft' category like the other three... He can handle the contact. He coughs it up once in a while but I don't consider him soft. |

Hard to say. He's young, has a solid +/- (laughs), put up some points in the playoffs, good offensively.
He has potential. Soupy was a friggin' mess in his own end for a few seasons. |
